Surf Spa inside the Surf Shack is located by the national road a few meters away from across San Juan Surf Resorts, and Sebay Surf Resort. Surf Shack has a restaurant, Moon Leaf Teashop, and some chill music. Surf Spa was at the 2nd floor. Walk past the dining hall, stairs at far end.

The spa was minimalist, structured, and clean. The tall ceilings made everything look roomy.
The foot massage chairs were positioned by the large window. Private rooms available for body massage services. We tried the Foot Massage 1-hr: Php300. The pressure was good, hot towels, and heating pads were provided.

Lucky THAI Massage in Bocobo Street, Malate is located at the 2nd floor (above BDO), across Manila Manor Hotel, few meters from Robinsons Mall. There used to be another massage next to it, but it's closed now. Price-wise, this would be one of the more reasonably-priced spas in the area. Considering it's foreigner-infested, most spas hike up their rates while offering the same service. Lucky Massage has good ambiance, clean facilities, and good masseuses.
Receiving area is simple but clean.

Le Felicity is nice little spa across Mall of Asia (Hypermarket side). Located at One e-Com building, the spa is bright and has a decent Menu list of services- including body massage, waxing, RF, facial, etc.. The main area for mani-pedi was almost full during my visit. Good thing there was one spot for me. I only had a  1-hr Foot Reflex Massage: Php490. I had to cover my eyes the whole time because of the lights, but it wasn't any problem at all. The chair was comfy, my masseuse was friendly, and the massage itself was good.
As you enter One e-Com, Le Felicity is to your left.
I love the soft white lights they used. Double pillows per seat was also nice.
There are private rooms in case your service requires it.

Asian Massage is located in the middle of Malate madness. We had to call in advance to ask if they have available masseuses to accommodate us. They scheduled us in the same night. Inside, the place is nice and you can see the effort they've done to modernize it. Oriental wall paper adorn the walls, nice couch seats for waiting, statues, and nice soft lights.
This is one of the older buildings in the area, which looks like a converted apartment of sort. But they've done a good job making it homey and spa-like.
Upstairs, the beds are covered in gold sheets, to be separated by tall, green curtains when in use.
This side has floor beds, separated by white curtains. We were placed here.
You can wear the silk robe they provided and use the hangers to change clothes. I was only having a Foot Massage so it wasn't necessary for me to change.

Nail-a-holics in Mall of Asia gets its fair share of crowd especially during weekends. The mix lounge is their main area for foot and hand care services, including spa and massage. Their private rooms are reserved for waxing sessions and full body massages. I came here with my mom and she loved the sunny, bright colors matched by their equally colourful pillows.
Staff wear proper uniforms which also matches the interior colours of walls and couches.
Quaint country theme is perfect with their black dropped lamps and chandeliers
Basket filled with towels, lotions, scrubs, depending on your service
We loved the good service. My mom had pedicure and foot spa, I got foot reflex.
The only downside in this common area was that it's too bright to relax deeply. Spas often have dim lights, but since they do manicures and pedis here as well, you can just cover your eyes. Also, the pillows somewhat look like they need a washing run. Pretty sure they keep every tool sanitized, and their common area pillows regularly washed (I hope). In other spas, you don't notice how good or bad the couches and pillows really look because of the dim lights.

Ritz Spa is one of the bigger spas in Malate area, very near the Robinsons Mall. First impression, it caters to foreigners and their companions, but they get some local guests like us every now and then. Receiving area is large, design is traditional, but remains functional. They accept credit cards.
Locker Room is separate per gender.
Roomy but old design
Weighing scale was useful, lol.
Theater style foot massage room
There wasn't any other customers when we arrived. But a couple of foreigners came in as we were leaving.
Perhaps you can request the TV channel you prefer, but usually the masseuses pick the show because it's basically for them, and you end up covering your eyes and trying to relax anyway.
Foot soak
Hot tea after the service

Remarks:
  • Price-wise, I remember it's a bit pricey. Around a grand or so for 2 persons.
  • The masseuse was nosy and bit rude, I just stopped talking altogether with her many inquiries. I know she was trying to be friendly, but some questions kinda crossed the line.
  • Overall feel of the place was dull. Sorry, all the materials were constructed properly, but the decor was too China.

We found D'Interior Spa at Dumaguete City along a residential/commercial road. It was a multi-slash space, servicing a salon, spa, and boutique. The place looked nice (the spa part), some accent lights, cushy chairs. Upstairs lead to massage rooms.
From outside, the name D'Interior Spa can be seen, with a boutique window and entry door.
This lovely area caters to the spa, the right side (next room) leads to the boutique/salon of some sort. The staff were congregated here watching tv, chit-chatting, eating, just plain chilling.
Unfortunately, we were led to the boutique area where there were 2 lounge chairs that double as Foot Massage/Pedicure chairs. All the rooms on the 2nd floor for massages were full, according to one staff.
We came face to face to their 'chill' area. The tv was loud, and the staff shrieked as the telenovela scenes get ridiculous. We felt sorry (for ourselves) for the lack of privacy and soothing sounds, like in other spas. Still, we went ahead with the service because we wanted to get our feet pounded.
Foot Massage: Php225

Remarks:
  • The massage itself was good. Rose petals were added on the hot water (for feet soak) before the proper massage.
  • I personally managed to block out all the sounds and filter the telenovela music from the TV. If you come here, request to have a massage room on the 2nd floor. I bet it will be a much better experience.
