Aubergine, The Fort
Aubergine is a fine dining restaurant in The Fort area, located above McDonald's on the 32nd. Upon entering, a classy interior welcomes guests. Hanging wine glasses reflect lights for a sparkling effect, aside from the reflective lights by default. It's dim and cozy, but not too formal as they easily welcome casually attired visitors. The kitchen can be seen from the dining area, only with a glass wall as separator. From numerous reviews, it's been hailed as one of the best in the metro. Since it's one of the few fine dining restos I've tried, I'm glad to have found one of the best appetizers in the world (more like my world) - the Sauteed Prawns and Scallops. Unfortunately, last time I checked they removed it from the menu. So it's fine to say that I may never be back in Aubergine again unless they bring it back, or at least allow a request order for it.
Parking is at the basement. Take the elevator to 2nd floor and it goes straight to Aubergine. Last order is 10PM. Take-out food is allowed, which they put in microwaveable containers.
