Grams Diner at the Fort opens around 7AM, but the public parking area next to it opens 8AM.

Outdoor dining area must've been occupied at nights only. Except if you seek to melt under the sun.

Inside is a mix of black and red undertones. With solid wood tables and dark steel chairs, it could pass up as an upscale New York pizza joint.

Their prices have risen but their food got better. When we came real early, we were the only ones there. The waiters were gracious, the place was spotless. They were playing a lot of Pixar mini-movies on their flat screen TV.
Taste-wise, their Tapa would be reason enough to visit. Serving sizes were American, mostly good for two. Eggs Benedict with the Hollandaise was filling.
Recommended? That's a yes, if you happen to find yourself hungry early morning, and you'd rather skip Jollibee or McDonald's.. then step right into Gram's Diner.

Grams Diner, Rockwell **Closed**

Try having breakfast at Grams Diner on a weekend just off Rockwell Mall in Makati. It's surrounded with fellow family-friendly restaurants like Pancake House and UCC Cafe. You will be greeted with a mix of people, local and foreign, going about with their early breakfast demands. The place can get pretty crowded around 8am nearing 10am, so be sure to pack a bit of patience as food is served fresh and newly cooked. It's a diner so it looks like a diner from one of those American films. The ceiling is high which makes for great picture windows, showing the lush of trees outside. Paid parking is shared with the other restos, which is located in front of the row of establishments, after the row of shrubs.
