Visited branches: Roxas Blvd., Robinsons, Mall of Asia, Jupiter
Aristocrat is one of the known true old Filipino restaurants in the Metro, along with Max's, Savory, and Kamayan, among others. Over the years, they've modernized their interiors with a sleeker look. Still, the Filipino dishes are present, from soups to desserts to the dipping sauces.
They are known for their peanut sauce (now the selling factor of Reyes Barbecue, which is probably Aristocrat's sister resto at some level) and even offers cooking courses thru their Culinary Institute.
Service would depend on the location. MoA branch gives prompt attention, while the one in Roxas Blvd gets a bit slow during lunch hour.
Their Jupiter branch is more relaxed, with a late-night bakery next door.
In terms of taste, I've encountered no fault. Price is more or less worth the food in terms of quantity. Serving size is not for sharing.
