SumoSam is a fusion Japanese resto, with a modern twist. The interiors alone looks sleek and ready for late-nights, much like their interesting menu of seafood, steaks, and sushi.. Surf n turf n surf some more..

This branch is highlighted in yellow. The ala-gentleman's club touches are subtle, but blends well with the graphic sumo wrestler poster and deep red wavy walls.

Red hot bar featuring saké, Japanese wines, and spirits.

I love their chairs. It supports my lower back perfectly, and it's smooth and sturdy soft all at once.

This branch uses red undertones and backlights. The sandy-looking walls lead to imagination of spas and stones.

More red. Doubled by the tall mirror.

They have House Tea, which means free tea.

I love how they served the tea in a teapot, and refilled it when we asked.

* Obviously we love the SumoSam Perfect Match- always with Chicken.
* Their house salad was delish! The vinaigrette they use was sweet and tangy.
* The miso soup was good, didn't taste like dishwater.
* Sushi rolls were topped with crabsticks and some lovely fish roe (tiny fish eggs). 
* I love their black stone-looking plates. Servers were accommodating and nice. Prices are fair. Serving sizes can be for sharing.
