Modern Shanghai in Mall of Asia is a grand restaurant which opens to the 2nd floor veranda overlooking the Manila Bay, while the other end opens to the mall outdoor corridors. It's one big Chinese place.

Modern Shanghai is good with emphasizing the dramatics. The oriental lighting is effectively charming. |

- Their xiao long bao was a bit disappointing, I kept spilling the soup inside coz the wrap
tears easily. The meat was ok when dipped on the sauce.
- The pumpkin cake, I decided to have them for take-away. While at home, I put butter and sugar so it won't be bland.
- The Shredded Chicken was good, serving size is for 1-2 petite persons.
- Hakaw was filling. The River Spinach had too many stalks and less leaves. I love veggy leaves.
