Wee Nam Kee, located at the New Glorietta 2 is part of the elite strip of import restaurants, along with Ginza Bairin and Watami.

The interiors boast of prominent classic Singaporean decor, from the trimmings, to the hanging bird cages-cum-drop lights.

At first, it looked a bit skewed, if not sloppy, because of the disarray of chairs and constant arrival  and leaving of guests. But the homey Asian-Chinese feel is comforting.

I love the colors, wall paper, wall mouldings, and soft lights.

Behind the divider is the kitchen window and external counter for plates, dishes, orders, etc..

Condiments per table include chili (love), ginger(?), and hoisin sauce (love)

Remarks:

• I was seriously surprised with their very affordable Chicken Rice Personal Set. Size is perfect for me, and cheap too. And very yummy!
• The dessert, one word - mistake.
• Chicken noodle soup was also good.
• Must come back for more hoisin sauce and tasty chicken.
