Thai Royale Spa

Thai Royale Spa in Balanga, Bataan is located only a few steps from the hotel we stayed in, Crown Royale Hotel. Carrying to the usual spa ambiance of similar taste, the spa is cozy, dim-lit, with a surround-sound soothing music.

The waiting room was pretty small. Pick your choice service and the staff will get back to you after the masseuses have been informed.

You will then be ushered to upper floor. This is where the massage area is. Dual foot wash area. I love their effort to infuse royal touches to their facilities. The space and fixtures might be limited, but everything's clean and orderly.

A corridor leads to the massage beds, with wood wall or curtain (for couples) separators. Each use tall curtains for privacy. Step on the round slabs like your life depend on it lol. The white part are small beach rocks. Quite the detail, A+ for effort!

Low beds are used for the massage. You can just place your things/bags on the side or corner. Hangers are placed for your clothes. Towels are provided. It could get chilly with the strong AC.

1hr Relaxing Foot Massage (with hot pads): Php200

Remarks:

• Hot tea and towel is given after the service.
• It was a pretty standard massage. Although the masseuses would chat (low voices) when working next to each other. As long as the pressure is ok, just let them be. Always happens even in other spas.
• The towels and beds were clean.
• Overall it's a nice spa, very comparable to Nuat Thai and Baan Khun Thai.
