Here we have to older version of the Seafood Market Restaurant. Now it's called Sabeen's Seafood Market Restaurant, and still located at J. Bocobo Street, walking distance to Robinsons Malate. We though it would be super expensive, but seeing the green checkered table cloths, we got confident in our decision to try it. Their selection of seafood were good, prices were clear per piece or per gram. You pay for the ingredients, no charge for them to cook your food, you then just wait for amazing dishes to come. It's the 'paluto' concept.
Today, it remains about the same outside. But inside, it has very luxe seats of velvety blue, rectangular tables are now round, with plates and napkins set properly.
When we were here, the place lit up with bright lights. A lot of foreigners were there. You just take your pick from the fresh seafood/veggie area and then inform the waitress how you want your dish to be cooked. They will inform you of some ingredients you forgot for your dish so you know they will add those to your bill later.
