Slappy Cakes

Slappy Cakes is a pancake diner with bright orange motif. The white wall tiles and black-and-white floors look all too organized and sterile. It's perfect. Love the modern diner interiors and wooden treatment for tables and seats.

Located at the basement of SM Aura, friendly attendants are always ready to welcome curious guests.

The black ceiling contrasts sparkling halogens. I love how each table has their own private hub.

This is a fun, cook-you-own-pancake slate. All the utensils needed are provided per table. But you can opt for an already cooked slappy cake, like we did.

 Remarks:

• Whipped cream was surprisingly great with pancakes. I thought it was whipped butter at first, but it's whipped cream topping.
• Their pancakes were fluffy and thick, although I prefer thin and slightly burned, I like how it was able to hold the banana slices inside.
• Poached egg, a little bland. Potatoes were tasty.
• Must come back to taste more of their offerings.
