Chelsea Grand Cafe

Chelsea Grand Cafe (formerly Chelsea Market) is a nice restaurant cafe with a New York vibe. The high ceilings and numerous lights are paired with wall to wall shelves filled with knick-knacks, wines, and figurines. As it's a market, fresh products are for sale like vegetables, tea leaves, baked bread, and spices.

Located at Serenda in BGC, the crowd is casual, foreign, or corporate. Chelsea is family-friendly too.
The off-beige white seats are comfy, but best to take the couch seats if you can. The floor to ceiling mirrored wall reflects the two other glass window walls.

Some mini chandeliers add a classy touch to the somewhat surreal-cum-Victorian interiors.

Fresh produce

Lovely dolls which speak of some southern comfort are mixed with elegant items on racks.
Chelsea Market's cakes are popular among guests, and often take on names of chocolates, which are incorporated into the product. Most of the cakes are sweet, though.
Upon entry, the wait staff are pleasant and so attentive. They refill the Bottomless Iced Tea just seconds away from your last sip. The waiter told us that the garlic focaccia bread is free and quickly gave us another serving when we finished the first one. Price is expensive, but overall enjoyable.
