After a couple of years since it opened, Lusso continues
to draw patrons, mostly to try on their famous foie gras, truffle, and
caviar-infused dishes. For a small strip of an area, Lusso definitely
pulled out all the lavish stops, starting with the majestic chandelier,
which alone glamorized the place to the next level. Located at Greenbelt 5, this institution became synonymous with french, exquisite and classic.
Even with limited floor area,
A small counter holds fine tea pots, napkins and some china. A wine bar at the other end near the kitchen displays their wine offerings.
I'm impressed that they were able to incorporate a luxurious comfort
room. The wall mirrors certainly helped in morphing a bigger illusion.
From the wash basin to the liquid soaps and stocked paper towels, Lusso
brings luxe to the toilet as well.
Outdoor dining is provided for all Greenbelt 5 restaurants, perhaps
because of the small interiors. The same lush chairs and tables topped
with a mini plant and gold napkin holders unify the area.
At first the attendant brought us forks and knives, but after we gave
our orders, he changed the knives to a more appropriate one fit for our
meal.

Lusso Demi-Pound Burger: Php850

US beef, cambozola bath, prosecco onions
The burger is truly succulent, juicy, and the transfused foie gras is
somehow lost and found within the patty. The grilled onions add crunch,
along with the bread. The salad vinaigrette is good. Only the fries are
flat.
The waiter was nice enough to cut our Foie Gras Burger in half, place
them on separate plates, each with a side salad, fries, and melted
cheese. Great service!
Lusso's takeaway bag beats all doggy bags. Gold and green paper bag with gold lace straps looks like you purchased a shoe or bag instead of food. Each item is placed in a microwaveable plastic container. Glad they don't scrimp even with the tiniest detail.
Remarks:
- It's best to try out Lusso's house specialties. It will be worth the visit and your money.
- Croque Monsieur was delicious I still prefer TWG's foie gras mini sandwich (from Imperial Set). I find it more savory.
- Staff are accommodating, polite, and seemed trained not to discriminate anyone.
