Hotel Inwangsan

Hotel Inwangsan is a functional hotel located at the center of Makati Business District in Makati Avenue. The city never sleeps in this part of town, and Hotel Inwangsan offers a nice refuge for weary travellers. The hotel is a come-on for Korean visitors, named after the Inwangsan Mountain in South Korea. Inside, it's housed in an old building with even older design materials. And perhaps due to this, they can offer forgivingly low rates, plus free breakfast.
The hotel lobby is clean and wide. There's a bench in front of the concierge, positioned against the wall. The structure is bit narrow. I like the sleek, black counter though.
Room corridors still has the dated look.
Hotel Inwangsan Room Rates
Regular Room: Php1500 with breakfast for 2
The room is large enough, with an old TV (cabled), closet, A/C, table and chairs.
Complimentary bottled water per guests, glasses, and toiletries
Bathroom looks like this. Water heater works
Bath towels provided
Danji Restaurant at the building's ground floor provides the free breakfasts for hotel guests.
You can also order ala carte and add dishes to your breakfast set if you like. I advise though that you order some meat or protein to go with your breakfast.
The cult-like pop Melona can be found here.
The breakfast set lacks protein. It has miso soup, rice, veggie banchan, egg. I love it, but highly needs some beef or pork.

Remarks:
  • Surprisingly, we had no problem getting taxis from here. Heavy traffic is on and off along Makati Avenue.
  • Good thing is you can just walk to nearby, very good restaurants in the area for your lunch or dinner.
  • The location, price, big-sized rooms, and free breakfast are reasons enough to consider Hotel Inwangsan for your overnight stay in the city.
