Saboten

Saboten is a serious Japanese restaurant, offering various meal sets. I love restos that have bento options because you always get a full meal - rice, soup, meat, vegetables. It's my favourite ever. Similar to Yabu, Tokyo Tonteki, Maisen, or Ginza Bairin, Japanese restos always have the same refillable combo. They differ in their goma sauces though, and choice of vegetables to pickle. Saboten's list of dish heroes include shrimp, tenderloin, crab, chicken, seafood, scallops, or a mixture of some.
Located at Glorietta 5, Saboten stands out in the food-packed building. You can easily see the glistening allure of the place's lightness and orient-influence at the ground level.
Inside, the charming Japanese wooden treatment continues.
Waiting area features white plush pillow seats.
Condiments on the table
If there are two of you dining, you will get a large bowl of the shredded cabbage that you can share, instead of having one each. It's unlimited too. I think that's brilliantly sensible.
