Tim Ho Wan is the only Michelin-starred restaurant you can easily try. What makes this affordable joint so different and deserving of such merit? If you see their menu, it's precise, limited but has variety. Straight to the point and you will have no trouble selecting the dishes you'd want to try. Quite similar to North Park, they use their printed menu as the place mat, so you always get to check the prices or can see what items you'd like to add.
When Tim ho Wan launched in Manila, it was packed to the brim. Their waiting area outside is always full, yet people gladly wait to have their turn to dine. Now, you can find many branches with relaxed air. There will always be people waiting outside, mostly for take-away orders.
I love their modern take on Chinese traditional interior design. Subway tiles and oakwood-like finish to floors, walls, and chairs. The splashes of green is on the seats and curtains.
Chopsticks are the norm. You can ask for spoon and fork if you must.

Remarks:
- Never doubt the flavours. They got each dish packed with taste and delightful ingredients.
- Price is not too bad. If you think a small serving of their steamed dishes will not suffice, think again. It can make you fell full because of the rich flavours.
- Their Mall of Asia branch has a designated window facing the outside for customers to order, like a walk-thru window.
- Definitely a must-try!
