High Street Cafe is a beautiful dining hall inside Shangri-la Hotel at The Fort, BGC. The hotel's extensive buffet breakfast is offered here. You can also do walk-ins and have the breakfast buffet for Php1200/person, or order a la cart meals. We decided to have our Christmas Eve breakfast here.
The hotel's lobby is grand! High and sophisticated, the massive chandelier matches the large Christmas tree. I noticed a lot of staff everywhere. All smiles, so no worries. As you're dropped off the driveway, staff will welcome you. A scanning machine by the entrance is in order.
We saw the High Street Cafe right away. There were a lot of people, but fortunately, such short waiting time for those in line.
We were given a nice table at the first dining area. There are several dining halls as the whole length is divided into them.
Adopting the 'library' look for the cafe, there are several sections with various foods, and dining tables.
It would be great to score a couch table by the large window. You can eat there for endless hours.
Wok station at the farthest end of the hall.

High Street Cafe Breakfast Menu À la Carte
We decided to skip the buffet. We're not big people and we get full easily. Plus, Php1200 per person is darn expensive for us.
Black Tea: Php160
Fluffy Brioche Cinnamon French Toast: Php390
Salmon Benedict: Php550
Remarks:
- Serving time was not good. Perhaps because most guests are on buffet, staff don't need to actually make rounds to take orders. So there were not a lot of staff available at any moment if you're ready to order or bill out.
- Our food arrived after about 35 minutes. We were f-hungry as wolves.
- All in all, a very pleasant experience once we started eating. We felt great and were able to appreciate all the beautiful decors and fancy interiors.
- Comfort Rooms are located next to High Street Cafe's entrance.
