Wildflour was the cafe I always ended up missing. Either it was already closed although I was hoping it wouldn't be (late night), or I was shocked to see it closes early every Sunday afternoon. But, perseverance paid off. I took my mom there one morning and to finally get to try their fares.
Wildflour is at the corner of 4th and 26th, and their outdoor tables are often fully occupied by smokers.
When we arrived, it was filled in all corners. Good thing they managed to give us a table by the glass wall. This photo with empty tables were just cleared happened as the breakfast rush finished.
I loved that they serve complimentary bread and butter. For a cafe, that's quite thoughtful.
Cafe Mocha: Php160
Organic tea: Php160
Smoked Salmon and Eggs on Toast: Php495
Baby Mixed Green Salad: Php350
Remarks:
- I do love their dishes. Salad was crisp and flavors were bang on.
- Their take on Eggs Ben was ok. I still prefer Apartment 1B's Eggs Ben. But Wildflour's used Bernaise sauce, and served a hefty amount of salmon.
