C2 Classic Cuisine, Robinson's Malate
At first, we assumed it was a flagship resto of C2 Tea Drinks. Although we have no idea if this is the case or not, we didn't ask the management. C2 - Classic Cuisine is one of the restaurants in the newest Robinson Pedro Gil atrium. It offers native cuisines, Filipino dishes in huge servings. The price is not for locals, it's probably twice or thrice your fast food rate. But the taste, presentation, and servings would deem worthy of every cent.
The interiors are pretty. Soft lights with some greenish and orange accents here and there. They love to use pandan leaves on their plates and dishes as part of the presentation.
The place is a bit crammed, because of the huge and roomy wooden long chairs. But it's great for group lunches or family dinners. The waiters are polite and attentive. I should say, the bowl of rice is good for 2-3 persons. Their servings are large, and it was emphasized more with their use of humongous white bowls and plates. Each table also gets their own condiments - salt, soy sauce, etc. There is no toilet in this resto, as most restos in Robinson's have none. But there are cluster comfort rooms nearby.
Chicken Pork Adobo: Php295
Pandan Rice: Php65 (good for 2-3 persons) / Monggo: Php285
Hot Salabat (Ginger Tea): Php45 / Iced Tea: Php70
Pork BBQ with Lumpia meal w/ Iced Tea: Php150 (left)
Chicken Lechon Kawali w/ Hubad na Lumpia w/ Iced Tea: Php150 (right)
Turones ala Mode: Php145
