Strategically located next to 24/7 resto Whistlestop, Maitre Chocolatier offers endless sugar fix for your chocolate needs. Either you eat chocolate for dessert, or you want it for lunch or dinner, it's the sweet stuff all the way in Maitre Chocolatier!
The posh interiors are subtly bright, with predominantly golden vibes against some red and brown accents. A wall of mirrors expand the place, while the other wall displays stocks of prime chocolates like Ferrero Rocher, Ritter Sport, Lindt, among others.
Wenge tables with whimsically decorated placemats set the mood for some fancy dessert.
A cool counter with giant bars of chocolate adds some serious choco hub cred to the place.
The wait staff are very attentive, prim, and quiet. Rightly so, because the place is serene. Only soft music and guests' chatters and whispers can be heard inside.
I was partucularly looking for Lindt Cognac, it was one of my favorites back when they still sell it here. Now, it's nowhere to be found. Oh well.
Anyway, Maitre Chocolatier serves meals, cakes, waffles, pancakes, and other dishes infused, mixed, or sprinkled with chocolatey bits. Chocolates always make for a great presentation, but don't let that fool you. Some are simple foods dressed up and the asking price is also a little high.
