Ebun

Ebun, MoA

Surprisingly fairly priced, with awesome interiors, Ebun is quite a find within the posh Greenbelt area. The floor to ceiling mirror opposite the floor to ceiling glass wall make for a more sparkling and eye-catching bogus chandeliers.

The dark drapes definitely emphasize the golden capiz chandeliers more, as it hangs over the place and instantly offers a dramatic setting.

The lovely object of awe delivered by Ebun. Subtle, yet effective.

The area is small, but blessed with very high ceilings. The black seats and dark granite tables are but backdrops of the majestic lighting pieces.

A bit of al fresco dining is possible, a nod for smokers.

One wall is painted in yellow, but not just the wall, everything on the shelves are yellow as well.

Aside from the grand chandeliers, smaller and more intimate lampshades grace the tables near walls.

Dark (and quite heavy) utensils to match the color scheme. All tables are clean and have nothing on top until a customer arrives.

Salabat (with Camote): Php45

Brewed Iced Tea: Php55

Lumpiang Sariwa: Php100

Beef Tapa: Php185

Sinigang and Pork: Php260

Prices are very reasonable. Ebun serves Filipino food with a twist. We love the taste and quality, maybe more so because it's cheaper than neighboring restos, but still. We enjoyed our lunch here very much.
In their receipt, it's called Ebun by Mangan, which is probably the Filipino Restaurant Mangan. That would explain the delish food and artsy interiors. I think they are opening another branch at Mall of Asia soon.
