Eventhough I've seen Rufo's a hundred times, situated along Kalayaan Avenue, Makati, I never really made an effort to visit the joint until after they gave a away a lot of big plastic bags at the Franchise Expo. I didn't know it was a open 24/7, even though it's clearly stated on front of the resto, until that day either.

One morning we were looking for a different breakfast spot, other than the usual fast food, and decided to try Rufo's. They've got a few parking spaces outside the building, or on nearby non-busy streets. I think the building being constructed next to it is the Knightsbridge condo. Not sure, but looks like it.

They have an airconditioned area, which has about 4 or 5 tables, with comfy couches, and the much bigger outdoor dining area with many bench chairs and long tables.

Energy is high as their radio blasts some tunes. A lot of al fresco diners smoke, so we opted to eat inside. Design is simple, a glass wall and mirrors make the space roomier. Clean colors and semi-diner look with the stripes tile.

Each table has some ready to use condiments, as well as their laminated mini-menu. There is also a meanu board at the ordering counter outside. Staff will take your order anyway no matter where you seat.

Kinda funny slogan: Mapapa-Mura ka sa Sarap. Well, it is cheaper than most, and well worth the price.

I would say that for the price, the location, and the resto itself, Rufo's is the perfect spot for some relaxing time with cheap choices. They're open 24hours, and best of all, their tapa really is one of the best!
