Recipes, Robinson's Malate

This little piece of niche along the many stalls in Robinson's Midtown wing is home to fine cooked, local cuisines. The in-your-face decor of Recipes, or lack thereof, does not compare to the abundant flavors that filled the dishes.

Generic blue chairs with clean white plating makes the whole area unappealing. But one wall with soft backlight and corrugated beige cushion adds some posh points to the overall look.

Service is fine. Quantity is plenty, as most dishes' serving size is good for two. I've only tried the Kare-kare and Nido Soup (numerous times), and both are always perfectly prepared and cooked. I will try variety next time, but there's palate safety in these dishes for sure.
