Duo Steakhouse & Wine Bar

Duo Steakhouse & Wine Bar, Serendra, Fort Bonifacio (closed)

With no background about Duo, it probably won't be the first choice for dining among several other posh Serendra restaurants. It has elaborate wooden beams and columns, flashy lights and reflective glasses like its neighboring restos. Its menu is conveniently displayed outside so guests can take a peek on their dishes and prices. But stepping inside would be the start of a good choice indeed.

Duo is NOT related to highly-praised restaurants Old Vine and Chefs' Quarters, but to Zuni in Greenbelt 5 instead. Although the interior design is similar to Old Vine and the menu has similarities (Tessie Tomas Salad ), they're both from different of group of restaurants (as clarified by the DUO Team - see comment below).

The ceiling is high with an interesting green mural, but their 2nd floor loft looks super cramped. But it's ok coz only staff go there. It's probably their kitchen or office. The classic touch starts with some pops of yellow flowers on each table. The clear water glasses, white plates and white cloth napkins makes it more formal. But nothing is intimidating in Duo. Waiters are friendly and polite, and they never cloud over you or intently watch you from afar.

The chairs are wooden black paired with dark tables. Comfort rooms are clean and fitted with a hand dryer, toilet rolls, hand soaps, bidet, and trash bin. Though hopefully there's a cover for the bin.

We only ordered two dishes, and both were amazing! I cannot even decide which is better. With great food and good service, a visit to Duo will surely be one of the best lunches or dinners you'll ever have.

  1. Hello 18 Stones,

Thank you for featuring Duo Steakhouse.

Just to clarify, DUO STEAKHOUSE is NOT CONNECTED in anyway with Old Vine or Chef's Quarter.

DUO opened in 2006 and is one of the pioneering restos in Serendra. The Tessie Tomas Salad is one of our best selling & classic items.

We thank you once again for your very objective review of DUO and we hope you can visit us soon. :D

  3. When I originally commented I clicked the -Notify me when new surveys are added- checkbox and after this whenever a comment is added I purchase four emails with the exact same comment. Could there be in whatever way you possibly can remove me from that service? Thanks! White wine for sale
