The fresh new design of the place is modern and soothing. The Flavours of China in Trinoma is not too big, but illuminated enough with mirrors and soft lights.
Each sturdy chair has a very Chinese-themed backrest and thick bottom cushions. Located along a strip of restaurants, there are seats outside for passers by and mall loiterers.
The joint was quite vacant when we arrived but was easily fully occupied after a few minutes as it was dinner time.
Complimentary Shrimp Crackers
Complimentary House Tea
Red Iced Tea (Bottomless): Php60
Nido Soup with Quail Egg: Php195
Half Fried Chicken: Php210
Broccoli Flower in Assorted Seafood: Php265
Food taste is decent. Not to say that it's typical of other Chinese restaurants, but yes, something like that. The shrimp crackers are given instantly, but if you want the house-tea pot you gotta ask for it. Price is more forgiving, serving size is good for sharing for 1-2pax. If you're confused where to eat in Trinoma, or your resto pick is full, Flavours of China would be a good one to try.
