A pleasant surprise is what Kangaroo Jack is. Prices are so affordable, the setting is not bad, and food is good.
Scattered tables with chairs easily match the orange-brown tone. With giant boomerangs hanging from the ceiling and classic soft lights, the ambiance is homey and non-intimidating.
A few couch seats by the wall are patron favorites. Although the lay-out could've been improved, as the entrance to the kitchen should've been behind the bar, the place looks decent nonetheless.
The stone wall is effective, being offset by the wall-papered red-green Aussie images. The row of round lights is a nice touch.
Each table has the trusted box of tissues and toothpicks, soy sauce and hot sauce. Paper mats with the Kangaroo Jack design are set on each table.
