Escario Central Hotel has the distinct boutique hotel feel, in garden setting. |
The lobby has glass walls, which features a clean, modern look. Minimal decor is needed as the all-white walls and orange accents already speak volumes. |
The open garden with manicured grass and a couple of outdoor tables and chairs. |
The pathway is tiled, with black rock stones on each edge. Carefully placed potted plants and tall aluminum ashtrays per cove. |
Each rooms have windows that look out to the open corridor. Although it's open, there's a silhouette white roofing. |
Doors face each other, but you'll hardly hear anything, save for the shower from the next room. |
Each room is identical from the outside. Perhaps designed by an OC, everything appears organized and well thought-of. |
There's a phone, complimentary 2 bottled water per day, drinking glasses, and flat screen TV with cable. The hotel also offers free WiFi. |
Bathroom has, unfortunately, no bidet. But the roomy bathroom has a clinical white treatment, with white lavatory, commode, towels, and toilet paper. |
Hot shower - good water pressure, nice heater function (adjustable) |
Complimentary shampoo and soap - only 1 each. Still, gotta appreciate the personalized touch. |
Remarks:
- There are only 2 types of rooms. One which costs Php1500 (Red Room) and Php1800 (Orange Room). The only difference is that the Orange room has 2 Queen sized beds, the Red Room - 2 Single beds.
- Hotel accepts credit cards and is affiliated with some online sites that offer discounts.
- Red Room:The mattress is standard-hotel level. There's a duvet, which is convenient. The clean white sheets compliment everything else that's white. Only one pillow per bed, but it's cool.
- Overall, the feel-good room is somehow worth the price. We paid Php1200 coz we got a discount thru an online travel site. There's no free breakfast as the hotel has no restaurant. But a 24-hr McDonald's is just next to 7-11. The 7-11 here is 2-storey with dining tables upstairs and outside.
- Recommended? If it fits your needs. I chose this because I liked the decor and location. There are other hotels within the same price range, same city central location, that has complimentary set or buffet breakfast. But since this is new, I wanted to try it out and I liked it.
