Gaudi

Gaudi, Serendra (CLOSED):
Gaudi is Spanish Restaurant that emits the right coloring in the interiors and decor.
Blue, white, mahogany, and sparkling mood lights certainly sets a classic yet airy ambiance.
Festive drop lights hang from the ceiling onto a long 'reserved' table by the corner.
A round table with white table cloth gets its own yellow ball treatment.
Gaudi's menu is just as colorful and artistic. The bar counter is manned by an attentive waitress and serves as the focal point of the whole restaurant.
Gaudi's al fresco dining area consists of simple synthetic counter-top tables paired with a mix of black and white chairs. A moroccan-like designed candle holder on top of each.
Comfort room is roomy and simply designed. All white tiles, some framed photos of Gaudi and Spain.

Their new offering, Tapas y Vinos. A striking red candle holder per table is placed on each table.
Hot Calamansi Juice: Php84
Iced Tea: Php50
Flauta de Camembert: Php350
I was highly disappointed by this appetizer. It tasted good, but was not worth the cost. For Php350, it's like a joke, when it's obviously just bread, caramelized onions, and the missing camembert cheese.

Solomillo de Ternera a la Pimienta: Php 695
Grilled beef tenderloin with pepper sauce
Tortilla de Patatas: Php235
Remarks:
  • Firstly, they never gave us complimentary bread basket. I'm not sure what classifies a restaurant to give one, but Gaudi seems like one of those. Anyway, we ordered an appetizer with bread so that's probably why. Or maybe they really don't offer any. Whatev.
  • Service is perfect. The attendants were nice and subtly checks on guests every few minutes.
  • Serving size is ok. Drinks are not too expensive.
  • They give good discounts for Senior Citizen card holders. Other restaurants only discounts the dish ordered or eaten by the senior, but Gaudi discounted every item we ordered. Rightly generous I'd say.
