Bopha Pollen Hotel @ Siem Reap

Bopha Pollen Hotel, Siem Reap, Cambodia:
Bopha Pollen Hotel is a nice little boutique hotel in Siem Reap. They offer free airport pick-up, and we were relieved to see that our tuktuk driver waited for us even after all other passengers left. We took time buying local sim cards at the airport.
I love the architectural facade of every hotel here. Very cultural and defining. From the roof trimmings, to the window treatments, the large wooden door frames and golden etchings, it speaks about a unified Cambodian design that's specifically Khmer.
We got welcome drinks and wet towel. The mini juice shots were tasty. Also, the hotel has a pool, but it's raining each day and we skipped it.
The lobby is simple yet functional. It's not too grand, but not crowded so it's still fitting. On the right is the dining area for the restaurant. This gets occupied during breakfast. On the left are a couple of PCs hotel guests can use for free.
The front desk is topped with brochures of possible tours, mini plant decors, and is always manned by an attendant. They speak good English and were very friendly and helpful.
Dining area and bar counter at the lobby. Buffet breakfast is also presented here each morning.
Buffet table on the side. This corridor leads to the elevator, stairs, and a public comfort room under the stairs. Concierge is on the right.
Stairs going up to 4th floor.
Each sleeping floors have a veranda at both ends. This would serve smokers, perhaps.
Superior Room: $25/night
USD $ is Cambodia's choice of currency, so it's convenient that we don't need to exchange Cambodian Riel to buy anything. Sometimes we were given Riels as change if the value is too small.
Complimentary fruit plate (on 1st day only), bottled water each day. Coffee & tea brewing tray. Bopha Pollen has the amenities of 5-star accommodations, with the topnotch service to match.
Closet with bathrobe for guests.
Cable TV, vanity
Modern bathroom with bidet.
Towels are provided for, and changed daily if not folded.
Complimentary toiletries

Breakfast buffet includes bread, jams, butter, coffee, juice
There are always eggs, some meat for protein like ham or sausage. Once we had some noodles and they were so damn good! But next day it was different so I will always be salivating for that noodle. I don't even know what sort it was. Oh well.
We came down around 9AM and buffet was almost going, going, gone.. But there were still some left for us. They do refill food when empty.
Porridge and rice option
Breakfast plate
Bread, butter, jam
I got the tasty noodle here. It was soooo good.

This spa is on the same road as the hotel (left side), but across 1 perpendicular street. It's Angel Massage. Masseuses give a good, hard kneading. Although it's a little bright, just put on you headsets and drift off. It's super cheap and relaxing. The hotel actually gave us directions to this spa. Foot Massage: $5
