Cherry Midtown Inn in Olongapo City scores high on location, design, and room offerings.

Located along the city's landmark Ulo ng Apo Rotunda's curve, Cherry Midtown Inn is right across the 24-hr Jollibee, Chowking, numerous banks, and Victory Liner Bus Terminal, among others.

The lobby has a boutique-like design, with few accented items for color and a large sofa.

I was a little surprised to find that they have 12-hour rates, but was happy coz it was cheaper and the hours were perfect for what we need. We came in around 10PM and only paid Php1210 for Junior Executive room without breakfast.

I bought food from Jollibee around midnight and it was conveniently across the hotel. The guard was on post 24/7, as well as a front desk personnel.

Room amenities include TV, cabinet (with hangers), AC, Hot/cold shower.

Bathroom is huge, with sliding door shower area, toilet + bidet. Towels are provided for.

Towels and complimentary kit of toothbrush, toothpaste, etc..

Remarks:

• I appreciate their customer service, from my inquiry calls to payment accommodation. Their staff were very friendly and  helpful.
• Security is evident, with the CCTV cameras in many corners, and the guard by the door at all hours.
• We never get to try their breakfast, but they have a dining area at Mezzanine level.
• The hotel accepts BDO credit cards. I'm not sure if it'll work with other cards since I tried to use my Mastercard (issued by other bank) and it didn't work. I wasn't overdue or over my credit limit or anything.
