Ati-atihan Festival Hostel

Ati-atihan Festival Hostel, Kalibo, Aklan:

We picked the Ati-atihan Festival Hostel because of the many positive reviews, their reasonable prices, and amenities.

The entry is this small room, where a sitting area and the concierge is located. Next to it is the dining hall, which gets booked for events.

A separate gate is the entry way to more parking spaces and budget rooms. This is the cozy common area. No curfew. A guard makes rounds at all hours.

Double Economy:Php1193 (Agoda) without breakfast.
In the hostel's pricelist, their Twin Economy is Php990/night, no Double Economy listed, so I'm not sure if we got the better deal off Agoda.

Room size is adequate, cable TV, aircon, closet with few hangers, en-suite bath.

Complimentary mineral water.

Bathroom is nice. Hot water works, no bidet. Complimentary toilet paper roll and shampoo sachets.

Remarks:

• I like how it's located in the middle of everything. Walking distance to Gaisano.
• About 10mins to Kalibo Airport, price is fixed to Php100 by tricycle.
• We never got to try their meals because there was an event and the dining hall was not open to public.
