Plaza Maria Luisa Suites Inn, Dumaguete City

Plaza Maria Luisa Suites Inn is a nice little business hotel with a great location, great service, and pretty decent amenities. Situated just across the city park, and a few steps from 24-hr McDonald's, banks, and church; it's not hard to get a tricycle the minute you step out.

The lobby-slash-cafe welcomes guests. Come mornings, the beaming sunlight brightens the area. Interiors have a very old-ish decor, but the tiles are distracting. The tall curtains work and the rugged wooden chairs, but overall lacks cohesiveness.

By night time, the bright lights were a bit stark. Maybe change to dimmers for softer feel.

Restaurant bar/counter. The large plant on the table is a bit confusing.

Each morning, breakfast buffet is served on this counter.

Upper floors have both stairs and elevator, plus a chill area facing the park.

Colorful corridors. Imagine how this all looks when you're drunk.

2nd floor has its own small dining area

Breakfast buffet, at most consists of 2 viands, scrambled egg, rice, and coffee

Still better than plated breakfast! We loooove the danggit fish, super crunchy!

I had to buy my own milo sachet since I don't drink coffee much.

Standard Twin Room: Php1199 with mini-buffet breakfast

The room has WiFi (unstable depending on your room location), Cabled TV, AC, phone, decent sized closet, plastic chair, trash bin, and en-suite bathroom

I like this bathroom even with its small size. It has hot water, good water supply, no bidet.

Remarks:

• They allow credit card and cash payments
• Considering the price, location, free breakfast, and amenities, I'd say Plaza Maria Luisa Suites Inn is a good find. It may not be as modern as the new ones, but it's complete and warm.
• Few parking areas available in front, I'm not sure if they have basement parking.
• Their scenic elevator is interesting.
