| The Royale House Travel Inn & Suites along C.M. Recto Street in Davao City perfectly fitted our 'short vacation, limited budget' theme. Its location is right in the middle of the city; jeepneys pass by the Recto street; walking distance to the local museum and church; security is not a problem as the hotel has 24/7 guard as well as nearby establishments; ATMs are few steps away. |

| Lobby is bright, with decorative dividers that separate the waiting lunge from the hotel dining hall. Some random items seem unnecessary and didn't mix well with overall design, but it's ok. It doesn't seem to aim for the boutique hotel decorated space. |

| Receptionists were nice and accommodating. You may be asked to show several IDs upon check-in. |

| A loud bird might be making sounds in the morning or noon, ha! It's not exactly annoying, just a bit loud. But quite amusing. |
