Gustav Cafe

Gustav Cafe in Angeles Pampanga is part of the Diamond Spring Hotel building, along with other services like salon and spas. During night time, the U-shaped compound blasts golden lights on the two-storey Eiffel tower replica outside, which can be seen from passing jeepneys. The middle space can accommodate several cars. Guards are on duty at all hours. Gustav also closes late, around midnight or so.

Gustav is mainly French, but their Menu is European fusion.

The tall curtains and handsome seats and plush chairs beckons hours of relaxing stay.

Although they use different types of seats - couch, sofa, chairs, the whole place still somehow looks tied together.

Stone-tiled columns add drama and character to the area.

I like that they used soft lights.

Remarks:

• Staff were friendly. Although depending on where you sit (corners), they might not see you immediately when you need them.
• Food price are reasonable, size can be for sharing.
• More people come during night time, having coffee and smoking outside.
