Buffet 101

Buffet 101 in Glorietta 2 is located at the mall's 3rd Floor, just behind the rows of shoppes. Turn to a corner near the computer/gadget stores, and you will find Buffet 101 sprawling, occupying from end to end. The double rows of cushioned seats are for waiting guests. Two separate registration lines for those with Reservation and for Walk-in Guests. Your companions can wait here as you sort your table with the concierge. Once you get settled, you will be led to your table, and allowed to eat. Payment is after your meal.

The glossy interiors, of course, screams gallantry and elegance.

Different table settings can accommodate your party whether there're only 2 of you or a group of 50 or more.

We got the semi-circle couch, which was very roomy, and the plush chairs were top-notched. Made us wanna eat more and more haha!

Utensils come after you are seated. I love that even the drinks are unlimited. Including water (at the beverage station). But you can also ask water from the waiters. They can also help get food for you if you and your group if you request for a specific dish.

Remarks:

• We had reservations eventhough it was a weekday and there were plenty of vacant tables.
• Make sure to go over every station. The place is huge and you might miss some tasty offerings on the other side of the restaurant.
• Waiters are always roaming around, and you will catch one of them in case you need one.
• When you're done for each plate, a waiter will take it off the table. You can get a fresh plate and fill it with more food.
• I believe they have a No Leftover Rule - and charge around Php1300+ for it. So make sure to get a few of everything, and not all at once.
• Cash and credit card payments accepted.
• Is it better than Vikings? Hmmm.. it's pretty much same. The grandeur of the area, multitudes of food options, friendly service, and the hype.Yup, I'd say they're at par with each other.
