Tanabe Japanese Restaurant

Tanabe Japanese Restaurant is one of those Japanese restaurants that would make you feel adventurous just be dining in, if you're not used to exploring foreign dishes that is. We visited branches in Jupiter Makati and Remedios Malate. The solemnity and somberness of Japanese food houses were captured perfectly by Tanabe.

We arrived at their Jupiter branch straight from facial and massage. We were the only clients at the time, until more patrons came as late night came.

A separate room for long table for mini gatherings or private meetings.

Remarks:

• Servers were nice and quick. And busy with their own activities, which was nice. We didn't want them focused on us while we were the only ones there.
• Food was great! Loved the freshness of the sashimi.
• We loved everything, except for the Chawan Mushi. Still can't get the taste of it.
• Overall, will include this to my go-to Jap restos!
