Pho Hoa

Pho Hoa is Robinsons has an open dining area, but quite cozy. I reckon it's been renovated. The warm lights add coziness to the whole place. Although tables positioned near the mall corridor may be a bit distracting. Taste-wise, I feel it's a bit far from authentic Vietnamese dishes. Names and making are same, but flavors still need improvement.
Still, the red accent works. Few attendants man the resto, but they manage well. Menus and condiments are part of the table set-up.
The clean lines, beige chairs match the floor tones well and give a feel-good vibe to diners.
Pho Hoa along Wilson Street, SanJuan adopted a more artsy interior, with a white wall canvass, geometric kitchen windows, red, green, and yellow accents.
The corrugated steel wall add s a subtle industrial touch.

Remarks:
  • We wanted to try more Vietnamese dishes dues to my extended curiosity from my Vietnam trip. So far, it's' sadly not even close to the authentic 'chicken and cashews' meal popular in Vietnam, but tasty enough in their own way.
  • When we ordered the soup (Wilson branch), although it's only Php35, the waiter told us it's 'solo size'. We assumed a mini soup cup, but it's huge, good for 2-3 pax. We ordered two servings but never even got to touch the other one, and struggled to finish the first one 'cause it's too salty. Anyway we felt that was kinda desperate. You shouldn't lie about the serving size, not like the customer will never get to see it.
