The Charter House

The Charter House is a pleasant surprise! We didn't know such hotel existed right smack in the middle of Makati, across Greenbelt 5. And the best thing? Price is reasonable, rooms are newly renovated, and staff were warm and considerate. We loved the location and charm of this hotel. The restaurant was to be renovated at the time we visited, and it's fully done by now I assume. I didn't get to test their parking situation, though. We were just dropped off and fetched.

The lobby is tall and seriously needs a makeover. Clean and reminiscent of the old grand hotels with sweeping staircases and such colours.

There are several seating hubs so guests don't idly stand on corners while waiting.

I explored the roof top level and they're bound to redesign this floor next. According to staff, they renovate per floor as to not disturb other levels.

One guests was sunbathing on the other side. Pool has a view of Makati skyline, and they also have a view of you.

Public comfort room, probably renovated by now.

Remarks:

• My mom totally loved this hotel. Location was perfect, you can just hop across Greenbelt to do some shopping, dine, watch movies, etc..
• The room was large enough to move around, with ample space to take your business with you. WiFi worked well, the soft lights improve the overall mood of the room.
