Sariwon Korean Barbecue is currently my favorite Korean resto! I love their banchan - a lot of tasty mini plates, and their specialty Sariwon Bulgogi is worth the parking headache during dinner time at BHSC.
Located at the 2nd floor of the newest phase of Bonifacio High Street Central, Sariwon requires reservations during dinner, but feel free to walk-in during lunch and afternoon.
Nevermind the decor, it looks Korean of course. I'm here for the food! Although, the nice lighting helped for a relaxing area, and large comfy couches for everyone.

Sariwon Menu
House tea
We opted for the  Special Set Menu: Sariwon Bulgogi + Dak Galbi + Dolsot Bibimbap + 2 refillable Iced Tea for a total of Php1450
Banchan: Pickled veg, Roasted peanuts with anchovies, Spinach, Kimchi, Mashed sweet potato, Pickled onions and mixed salad (below)
We love their salad and had 2 rounds each. We also ordered more mashed and spinach.
Sariwon Bulgogi: Php545
Sariwon Bulgogi - the soup is so tasty, with the super thin noodles and meat, you'll salivate as you wait for your server to finish prepping and finally serve you a cup. (They will scoop the first serving before they leave)
Dolsot Bibimbap: Php380
Dak Galbi: Php350
Iced Tea: Php 115 (refillable)
Lemonade: Php160
Sikhye - Sometimes we get this complimentary, other times it's not served. But you can order it for Php60. It's sweet and magical, coz I can't figure how rice can ever evolve into this sweet concoction, but perfect meal ender nonetheless.

Beso Cucina Vinotek, BHSC:
Beso Cucina Vinotek offers Spanish dishes and is open until 2AM. The posh, extra casual, subtle vibe of the place is evident from the relaxed conversations and occasional laugh outbursts among tables.
Located at the 2nd level of Bonifacio High Street Central, it also has an outdoor area for smokers.
Reddish hue lights and golden walls
The open kitchen faces the dining area. Wooden tables, chairs, and floors proved perfect with the highlighted wall mural for a smokey, gentleman's bar feel.
Cutlery
Complimentary bread. Soft and warm.
Juice: Php90+
Squid ala Planca: Php260
Rice pilaf
Churros and Chocolate: Php195
Mini chorizo burger sliders, onion jam, and manchego cheese: Php395
Remarks:
  • More than their Spanish dishes, it is one of the places to be seen. You'd brush shoulders with some of the town's elite, a lot of foreigners, and some middle-classers (like us, hehe...)
  • We had a very late meeting with some relatives who visited the city, and chose Beso because it closes late.
  • Serving size is a bit miniscule for the price.
  • Taste-wise, it's all flavorful and succulent.

Texas Roadhouse Grill, Fort Bonifacio:
Texas Roadhouse Grill is located along the string of restaurants in the Fort. Quietly serving tasty Texan dishes that surprisingly comes in affordable rates.
Al fresco dining, smoking and non-smoking rooms separated
This is their bar and non-smoking dining area. Interiors are of similar version as other Texan, Mexican, cowboy grillhouses like Holy Cow, Tender Bob's, etc..
Complimentary nuts
Dalandan Juice: Php110+
Hot tea: Php75
Iced Tea: Php95
Grilled Chicken with Mushroom: Php395
Boneless BBQ Chicken: Php370
  • I noticed the warmth and friendliness of staff right away. Their radio plays songs all throughout. Not exactly cowboy/country songs.
  • Taste-wise, everything tasted great, and serving-size is for sharing.
  • Nice laid-back crowd, family-friendly enough, perfect for lunch or dinner.

Stella, Bonifacio High Street Central:
Stella is one of the first restaurants in Bonifacio High Street Central to catch the attention of general patrons.
The corner-side resto splits with Rocket Room bar next door, but shares menus. You can see the other side thru a glass wall and compare the kid-friendly Stella with a gentleman's bar of some sort Rocket Room.
Stella uses thick wooden tables, paired with black long couches and lighter brown chairs. The clear dark glasses, white plates, napkins, utensils, and an Evian bottle top each table.
The open kitchen at the back is sunny yellow, bright and inviting. Servers tend to flock here as well to mind the guests.
Evian bottle with a mini potted plant
Complimentary bread and dip
Roasted Garlic Mushroom Soup: Php175
California Style Baby back Ribs: Php420
Jasmine Rice: Php60
Wood Fired Sweet Crispy Asian Pears: Php195
Gorgonzola cream dolce, toasted almonds
Stella's Wood Fired Chocolate Almond Cookie Doug: Php195
Salted caramel, rosemary pistachios, and topped with Mantecado ice cream
  • I personally like Stella. It's homey, relaxing and the Menu is interesting enough for me to come back
  • Servers were very accommodating and attentive.  I asked them about the exact location of Stella because my companion was looking for nearby parking area, and they all fussed to help me.
  • The Baby Back Ribs was really succulent, serving size is good for 2-3
  • The started bread was soft and warm, perfect with the dip
  • The desserts were too sweet for me, with the huge quantity for sharing, I got a little too much of it too soon.
  • I would come back to try other dishes though. I have faith there are many good ones I missed.
  • Toilets are outside, as most restaurants in BHSC do not have their own.

Nolita, Bonifacio High Street Central:
Nolita is slowly climbing the popularity ladder, offering a unique pizza joint with a New York feel.
Inside, the black walls and ceiling is adopts the modern, NY subway ambiance, with pipe lightings on the wall and numerous ceiling droplights.
The striking orange lights and orange-y counter radiates a rugged ambiance with self-service ordering. Customers should make their pizza orders from the pizza counter to the 'pizza guys'. These would be their larger-than-the-plate pizza slices.
Relaxed seating areas. Wall mirrors to expand the place and double the bulb sparkles.
A few framed photos for a pop of color
A little exposed, but appreciated. A wash basin is provided, placed in between the ordering counter and a seating area.
Nolita's line of brews
Their humongous pizzas. Each slice goes for about Php250 each.
Cannoli: Php100
Chicken Parmesan Pizza Slice: Php250
The no-fuss, fast track pizza joint offers more than just pizza slices. Nolita is Italian after all. We tried their cannoli, which has the authentic cannoli ingredients of orange zest, some pistachio crumbles, and chocolate droplets. The taste is rich and bursts in your mouth, in a really good way. One serving would be enough, though. Too creamy.
The pizza we tried was delicious and filling. Worth Php250 a pop? Maybe.
Nolita also serves burgers, sandwiches, salads, soups, house cocktails, and beers. And if you dine al fresco, you face the modernly landscaped and strategically lit garden of BHSC.
